About Glasgow Theatres and Entertainment

(Glasgow, Scotland)

Glasgow has a rollicking arts scene and plenty of theatres and venues spread liberally around the city.

Entertainment is certainly varied, with venues hosting everything from live music to contemporary and experimental dramatics and musicals, classical pieces, opera and pantomime. The city's main venues include the Pavilion, Cottier, Tramway and King's theatres, as well as the Theatre Royal. Many of Glasgow's pubs also regularly feature live music.

Should you be looking for something other than theatre performances or live music, head to some of Glasgow's night clubs which are in line with other European capital cities and attract some of the UK's hottest DJs, with popular favourites including Soundhaus and Sub Club.
